Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to table the interim budget during the ongoing budget session in Parliament on Thursday.
This is Sitharaman's sixth consecutive budget. However, this year's budget is only an interim budget meant to handle government spending until the impending Lok Sabha elections. A full budget will therefore be announced once the new government is formed.

The education sector is looking for incentives to promote quality digital education. Notably, since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic era, digital infrastructure has become the focus of the education sector. However, its activities still face challenges.
