Laurie, who is selling the property, made some changes, including re-sealing, re-grouting, adding a new shower screen, water fixtures and a toilet, but the tiles were in good condition. He said it made sense to leave it as is. .
“It would be too expensive to do a reno for sale, so we went that route,” she said.
“It needed some attention to bring it up to a more respectable standard.”

Lowry said the new owners may add a modern addition to the house, and if they do, the bathroom will likely be removed.

Rowley said it was officially launched on the market late on New Year's Eve and received multiple inquiries within 30 minutes.
“From people looking for an allocation per se to people looking for it as an investment,” she says.
“We have second and third home buyers. Some are looking to expand, some are looking to downsize. Almost everyone is buying, except for first home buyers. I am.
“This is a great opportunity to go to the suburbs where prices have gone up significantly since COVID-19.”
The median home price in Prospect has increased 47.9% over the past three years to $1.05 million, according to the latest PropTrack data.
The property will be auctioned on January 23rd at 6pm.
