Eni Comialti, head of the ministry's Regional Events Promotion Working Group, said that last year, KEN welcomed approximately 7.4 million tourists, 11,000 small businesses, 140,000 artists and 36,000 people. It has absorbed 1,000 workers and has had a positive impact on Indonesia's tourism and creative economy.
“800 associations and communities also participated in KEN 2023, contributing Rp 199.3 billion to GDP and circulating Rp 12.42 trillion,” Eni concluded.
