On January 20, 2024, the 2024 Liaoning Large-Scale Ice and Snow Hot Spring Experience Season and Panjin China's Northernmost Coastal Ice Challenge will be held jointly by the Liaoning Provincial Culture and Tourism Bureau, the Provincial Sports Bureau, and the People's Government. It opened in the Honghaitan National Scenic Corridor in Panjin City.

The 2024 Banjin China Northernmost Coast Ice Challenge is divided into three main scenes: “Ice and Snow + Event Scene”, “Ice and Snow + Folklore Scene”, and “Ice and Snow + Cultural Creation Scene”.
