Currently NAFSA's Executive Director and CEO, Aw previously served as NAFSA's Chairman and Board Chair from 2013 to 2016. Aw dedicated his academic studies and his professional career to American University in Washington, DC, where he earned various degrees including a PhD in sociology. He talks about international education, social stratification, and cross-border migration. Aw has also held various leadership positions at American University, most recently serving as vice provost for undergraduate admissions, campus life, and inclusive excellence. In 2023, American University honored Aw for his outstanding contributions to the university.
Tomas Chamorro-Premzic
Chamorro-Premuzic has served as Chief Innovation Officer at ManpowerGroup since 2018, leading the Center of Excellence for Assessment and Analytics, developing data-driven solutions and insights to drive predictable performance. We are creating new value for our clients and candidates. His expertise lies in leveraging people, analytics and evaluation to help individuals better understand themselves and businesses better understand their employees. Chamorro-Premuzic is Professor of Business Psychology at University College London and Visiting Professor at Columbia University in New York. He has been recognized by various prestigious professional bodies for his valuable contributions to the field of psychology.
Ajay Patel
Patel has served as president of Vancouver Community College since 2020. He has over 20 years of experience supporting post-secondary students, employees, and the educational community. Prior to joining the College, he served as Vice President for External Development at the College, where he directed College Development, Communications and Marketing, Continuing Research, Institutional Research, International Education, and the Langara Foundation. Did. In 2022, Patel was appointed to the British Columbia Multicultural Advisory Council, which advises the Minister of Multiculturalism on issues related to anti-racism and multiculturalism.
