Darwin's palatial home with $300,000 gym is the Northern Territory's most popular property in 2023, with more views on realestate.com.au than any other home in the Territory Ta.
PropTrack analyzed data from realestate.com.au to find the 10 most viewed Territory homes of the year.
In first place was 19 Kirkland Cres in Larakeya, with 27,000 views since the sprawling home was listed in March.
Selling agent Seth Chin of Chin Property Group said the “landmark residence” is a 120-square-meter property with 1,300 square meters of floor space over three floors, commercial-grade amenities and $300,000 worth of amenities. Featuring a gym, the property is unlike any other on the market in the top end. .
“The owners wanted to create something they envisioned as timeless and modern,” Chin said.
“As soon as you walk in, you get the feeling that this home was built by someone who cared.”
Chin said the property has received strong local and interstate interest.
“I've gotten a lot of comments about the gym,” he says.

In second place was Humpty Doo's Origin Cl 62, Netflix's Famous House, with 25,000 views.
The Tropical Oasis Holiday Home, set on 1.86 hectares, featured on season 1 of Channel 7's reality show Instant Hotel, and was subsequently streamed on Netflix.
The home is divided into three pods, all with pitched ceilings, louvered embankments, and easy indoor-outdoor flow connected by covered walkways. The grounds also include a resort-style pool, granny flat, and a flying fox.
Darren Hunt and Daniel Harris of Real Estate Central Projects sold the property in less than a month for $1.5 million.
“This is a great piece of real estate and was certainly popular on the market,” Mr Harris said.
“Darren and I met about 50 buyers at an open house and made offers to three groups.
“It was ultimately purchased by a large family with many children who wanted the ultimate Northern Territory outdoor lifestyle.”

The third most clicked home in the territory was 760 Strangways Road, Humpty Doo, which was put on the market for $830,000 through Paula Twilley of Red Earth Property Northern Territory.
Although this 6-hectare property doesn't have the price or appeal of the top two properties, it still managed to attract 13,500 views on realestate.com.au.
The property features a simple top-end style home with an expansive outdoor area, separate rumpus room, separate fifth bedroom with en-suite bathroom, shed and in-ground pool, all in an established tropical setting. Surrounded by gardens.

Fourth place went to the oceanfront mansion at 1 Emery Court, Cullen Bay, with views of 11,600.
Marketed by Colliers International's Chris Hyland, the 1,090 square meter property features an architecturally designed home, an L-shaped lap pool and sophisticated landscaping.
The two-story home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a balcony, a verandah, a courtyard, and home automation.
Rounding out the top five is 502 Whitewood Rd, Howard Springs with 11,200 views.
This 2-hectare property, for sale through Mr Chin, features a tropical home with a huge outdoor living area overlooking an in-ground pool.
The current owners have renovated the original home on the property and added four pavilions to create resort-style living.
