A man has appeared in court after police discovered a large quantity of cannabis growing.
Officers arrested the suspect after executing a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at a three-storey property in Chilwell Road, Beeston, at around 9.15am on Thursday (1 February 2024), killing approximately 300 people. I discovered this plant.
Eljord Kevani, 25, of no fixed address, was charged with manufacturing a Class B drug.
He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Friday (2 February 2024) and was remanded in custody until his next appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on 1 March 2024.
These warrants continue to be carried out as part of our ongoing proactive efforts to tackle drug trafficking in the Broxtowe area.

“Drug-related crime is inherently linked to street violence, anti-social behavior, theft and other serious crimes. It has a devastating impact on the lives of victims and the wider community.
