Tallinn's Paavli Kultuurivabrik is included in the list of Europe's top music venues due to the development of concert culture and the European music industry.
The list was compiled by LiveEurope and includes venues from 24 countries including the UK, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Denmark, Greece and Italy.
“Paavli Culture Factory has been officially open for less than a year, but Liveurope has given us this opportunity thanks to our hard work and reliability. This is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our entire team. “It is a tribute to the sense of mission,” he said. Founder Roman Demchenko.
The factory opened last summer on the edge of Paavli Tanäv in Tallinn.
In its first year, Boy Hersher, Ewart and the Two Dragons, Sungazer, Algiers, Gameboy Tetris, Mr. Easy and more performed at the venue. Black Emperor, Chelsea Wolfe and William Basinski have already confirmed their participation in 2024.
“Of course our ambitions are music-focused, but we are more than just a concert venue or a club. We want to build a holistic ecosystem for music and give people truly great places to visit. We want to provide the same,” Demchenko added.
Paavli Kultuurivabrik also offers literary programs, community garden events, and stand-up comedy.
Liveurope is a pan-European initiative supporting concert venues that promote musical diversity in Europe.
Sveta Bar, which closed late last year, was also previously included in the list.
