Esther Akos, alias Akosi, claimed that her life was in danger in Migori County and expressed grave concerns about her safety.
The famous musician and businesswoman narrated the harrowing encounter that reportedly took place at the Migori County Chief Financial Office.
“My life is in danger!! My life is in danger in Migori County. I never expected this to happen.” Akothee revealed on social media yesterday
Akothee said she encountered a group of thugs who had strategically positioned themselves waiting for her to exit through the front door.
However, she defeats them using another exit.
“Well, I am at the police station. This morning some miscreants attacked me at Migori County Treasurer. They gathered in front of the door expecting me to come out of the same door. I went out the back door. They immediately noticed that I was out and ran to the gate to stop me. The county reinforcements came laughing with them and showed me the Migori dust. I left them there, saying I would take care of them.” Akothee wrote.
She added: “Then we drove straight to the police station. The recorded statement was then escorted out of Migori.”

Akothee accompanied the post with a short clip taken from inside the car, showing a police van through the back window.
The singer, who is known for her philanthropic work, said the terrifying ordeal had forced her to cancel her ongoing campaign to admit Form One students to the school.
“I guess I won't be able to get Form Ones into school today, it was scary 🙏 I'm making a mess. Please use good English. And it's scary.”
The outspoken Akothee continued to demand that the hitmen do it themselves instead of hiring goons. She also said that an investigation into the attack is ongoing and that she will update fans at the appropriate time.
“If Migori politicians want to kill me, don’t use goons to disseminate your information, shoot me. God’s revelation this morning will let you know later. The investigation is still ongoing. ing” Akothee said.
