The famous singer, known for her philanthropy and vibrant music career, has detailed a harrowing encounter that allegedly took place at the Migori County Chief Financial Office, putting her and potentially her inner circle in dire jeopardy.
Akothee's alarming post sheds light on what appears to be a calculated intimidation tactic by unidentified persons.
According to her account, she was ambushed by miscreants when she visited the county treasury office. She claims these attackers were waiting for her to exit through her front door, but she evaded them by using another exit.
However, this strategy did not deter the attackers, who immediately attempted to stop her escape at the gate.
“My life is in danger‼️ My life is in danger in Migori County. I never expected something like this to happen. Well, if Migori politicians want to kill me Then shoot me instead of using some thug to pass on your information.” Akothee wrote.
Further complicating the case is her claim that county reinforcements arrived solely to get intimate with the attackers, hinting at an alarming level of collusion.
After the attack, Akothee reported the incident to the local police station, where she and her team recorded a statement before being taken from Migori.
“The county reinforcements came laughing with them and left them there, saying they would show them the dust of Migori.”
“We then drove directly to the police station. We recorded our statements and were escorted out of Migori.” Akothee said.
The ordeal forced her to cancel plans to admit Form 1 students to the school, evidence of the impact the threat had on her charity work.
