Black History, Dr. Seuss Featured at Tupper Lightfoot Library

Trawick said the forms can be downloaded in fill-in-the-blank format, and the latest Alabama forms can be downloaded. It said it will be continuously updated to reflect. Trawick said the Tapper-Lightfoot Memorial Library has many resources available. He said he has staff willing to assist patrons. The Tupper Lightfoot Memorial Library is located on South Main Street in downtown Brundidge.
Brundidge's Tupper Wright Memorial Library has a busy calendar of events planned for February and March.
Library Director Teresa Trawick said two major events are the Black History program on Feb. 24 and the Dr. Seuss birthday party on March 2.
“We anticipate a large turnout for these events, so we encourage you to mark February 24th and March 2nd on your calendars,” Trawick said.
The Black History program will be “Honoring Unsung Heroes” at 10 a.m. Feb. 24 at the Tupper-Lightfoot Memorial Library.
This program will be your time to learn more about some of our local unsung heroes.
“Sousse on the Loose Week'' is a time to come to the library and have fun wearing a quirky dress.
The Dr. Seuss Birthday Party will be held at the library on Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m.
Trawick said kids of all ages can celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday by participating in a whimsical time at Tupperware with games, snacks and crafts.
The Tapper Lightfoot Memorial Library has a vast collection of books to read and learn about the unsung heroes of Black history. Tupper also has a large collection of Dr. Seuss books that are quirky and fun to read.
