Crimppi is a global wire harness, optical cable, and electromechanical assembly provider serving advanced industries.
“We chose Latvia as the perfect location for our fourth factory, which analyzes other Baltic products. Here we have convenient logistics built into our supply chain and skilled and available labor. In addition, thanks to the support we received from LIAA both in Finland and locally in Latvia, we found modern facilities and expanded our presence here. ” said Timo Hari, CEO of Crimpi.
The Vaasa-based wiring harness manufacturer's new factory will better serve the Nordic market and realize the Group's growth strategy. This factory will begin production in the first quarter of 2024, and in the next few years he plans to employ more than 100 people.
“The Latvian factory expands our group's factory network in addition to China and Croatia and will enable us to better serve our customers, especially in Northern Europe, the Baltics and Central Europe. Thanks to very modern equipment , we can scale up production quickly and efficiently,” said Timo Hari, CEO of Crimpi.
“We have made all of our major investments during the recession. We believe in what we are doing and as the green transition progresses, these investments will pay off and demand for our products will increase. We are confident and determined to continue our growth-oriented strategy,” Hari said.
The location of the new factory in Liepaja will significantly shorten the distance and time for delivering products to customers, reducing emissions.
