A fire broke out at the Yorkshire Tea factory in Harrogate.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service reported attending a fire at Plumpton Park, Harrogate. This is believed to be at Taylor's of Harrogate factory, which makes Yorkshire tea.
Fire officials said they were called at 7:38 p.m. to reports of a fire in the roof cavity of the factory. Six fire engines and ladders were dispatched to the scene, and the fire appears to have started inside a duct.

They said: 'Crews were called at 07:38 to reports of a fire in the roof cavity of a factory in Plumpton Park, Harrogate.
“Six fire engines and an elevated ladder stand have been dispatched. The fire appears to have originated from a duct in the roof.”
“Crews are expected to remain on scene for some time.”

Betty and Taylor make sure the staff is safe.
A spokeswoman for Betty's & Taylors Group, which owns the factory, said all employees were safe.
“We can confirm that a complete and safe evacuation took place and the fire was quickly extinguished,” they said in a statement.
“Emergency services have been on scene for some time to ensure the safety of our facility, but they have now begun to leave the scene.”

Fire officials confirmed that all employees were safely evacuated from the factory.
“Crews remain at the scene of this incident. The fire appears to have originated in the dust collection system,” they said in a statement.
“The building has been evacuated and there are no injuries.
“Crews are expected to remain on scene for some time.”
