Girish Mahajan also launched an app for the 'Aai Policy' introduced by the Maharashtra government to empower women entrepreneurs in the tourism sector. Under this initiative, the Ministry of Tourism plans to register 10 women-owned and operated businesses in each district, spanning various sectors such as homestays, hotels and restaurants, and tour and travel agencies. The policy aims to promote women's entrepreneurship and economic empowerment in the tourism industry across Maharashtra.
