While other property markets around the country are quiet this summer, the Gold Coast property scene will be in the spotlight.
Dozens of Gold Coast properties are set to be demolished next month to take advantage of the sun, beaches and cheerful atmosphere that the holiday season brings.

The largest single indoor auction in the country, an event organized by Ray White Surfers Paradise Group, will be held on January 28th.
Ray White Surfers Paradise Group chief executive Andrew Bell said: “The Gold Coast is Australia's playground, with the highest number of tourist arrivals during the January holiday season.”
“This event is designed to maximize the showcase of participating properties during the busiest month of the year.
“We are also deliberately targeting our auctions during the national long weekend to ensure maximum people can come to the Gold Coast for the event without any work restrictions.”

The 30th annual event will include homes priced under $600,000, as well as a selection of commercial auctions, vacation homes, luxury apartments and general real estate.
Meanwhile, Amir Prestige Group is scheduled to hold a Grand Summer Auction event on January 24th. The agency has 26 properties listed so far.
Principal Amir Mian said: “This will be Queensland's largest prestige auction event.” “Buyers will have many options and will have the opportunity to consider a wide range of properties, from beachfront apartments to waterfront homes.”

Mr Mian said holding the event at the end of January was a strategic choice to attract more buyers.
“The holiday season is a time when everyone relaxes, makes New Year's resolutions, and finally has time to look around and think about where they want to go next,” Mian said.
“Auction events create competition and a sense of urgency that forces people to make decisions. That's why we say curiosity attracts buyers and the auction process does the rest.”
Among the properties under intense investigation is 87 Monaco Street, Broadbeach Waters, also known as 'Bachelor House'.

Located on the coast's famous Avenue de Monaco, a Beverly Hills-style two-story home used as a backdrop for a reality TV show sold for $14.5 million in October 2021, making it the highest-priced sale ever in Broadbeach Waters It became.
Designed by renowned Gold Coast designer Jared Poole, the home measures approximately 2400 square meters and boasts an incredible 115.1 meters of water frontage on a riverside point.
Mr Mian said the property had attracted a lot of buyer interest from “15 groups as of last week”.
