Gold Coast suburb Eleven has seen record sales this year, with buyers paying top dollar to secure prime locations.

Among the standout suburban vandals are luxury properties in the Tallebudgera Valley, an all-white coastal-inspired home in Mermaid Waters and a huge trophy house that broke a Queensland auction record when it sold. It was included.

Michael Koloche, president of Koloche Broadbeach, said buyers were prepared to pay a premium for properties because there was a lack of inventory on the market.

“The market clearly remains very active and strong, and stock prices are tight,” Koloche said.

“Rising construction costs are driving up prices for existing homes, and the ongoing volume and public infrastructure work is making it extremely difficult to find builders.”

In the Hinterland, a trophy house known as Dahlia Estate sold for $11.2 million in December, smashing the suburban record by $5.9 million.

The Tallebudgera Valley estate includes a hillside home with a host of luxurious facilities, from a helipad and outdoor gym to a resort-style pool and tennis court.

The previous record for the suburb was $5.3 million paid for a home at 113 Monday Drive in August 2021.

The Mermaid Waters property known as the “White House” sold for $7.3 million in November, beating the suburban record by $2.02 million.

The expansive two-storey home at 43 Marchelli Street was one of the most sought-after properties in the country on property portal realestate.com.au when it went on the market.

With sweeping views of the Gold Coast city skyline across the ocean, the impeccably designed, nearly new home offered a property with entertaining, outdoor living and comfortable living built into the design.

The previous record was 62 Lakeview Blvd, which sold for $5.28 million in November 2021.

The property was located in the “Elysée” mansion and was the only home in the seaside complex.
