According to a memo dated January 31, the initiative aims to ensure that parents pay their learners' fees through the platform to ensure accountability in the education system.

How to submit account details
Principal Secretary for Basic Education Berio Kipsang said details would be submitted to the Office of the Director-General of State for Basic Education (dg@education.go.ke) and a copy to sa.basic@education.go.ke.
Ahead of its launch, the government has directed principals to share details starting with account name, bank, account number, bank code and branch code.
