Gunmen attacked and killed two people, including a member of the National Police Reserve (NPR), in the village of Kaptir in Turkana District.
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning when police reservists were escorting some locals to a drinking fountain in Nakwamolu.
A 35-year-old civilian was also killed. The gunmen stole 20 bullets from NPR's rifle (G3 rifle).
Police arrived at the scene minutes later and took the body to the morgue.

On Thursday, Interior Minister Kisre Kindiki held a strategic meeting with senior security managers in Shaba, Isiolo County.
