Two men have been arrested after police raided an industrial estate in Bristol and seized 660 cannabis plants. Officers from Avon Police and Somerset Police, assisted by specialist officers, searched an industrial estate on South Liberty Lane yesterday morning (Thursday, January 25).
Police searched the premises yesterday and found hundreds of cannabis plants. Two men, one in their 20s and one in their 30s, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of manufacturing marijuana. Both men were released on bail pending an investigation.
Due to the risk of fire starting from the equipment, the power supply was bypassed and secured by grid staff.

Avon and Somerset Police posted the news on social media, writing: “During National Neighborhood Policing Week, neighborhood police seized over 660 cannabis plants from an industrial estate on South Liberty Lane in Bristol.
“Officers from the Neighborhood Team searched the premises on the morning of Thursday 25 January, assisted by specialist police officers.
“Two men, one in their 20s and one in their 30s, were arrested from an address on suspicion of producing cannabis. They were subsequently released on bail pending further investigations.
“Due to a risk of fire from the equipment, the power supply was bypassed and secured by grid staff. #NeighborhoodPolicingWeek.”
