We have set our sights on a mission to make an impact in promoting the.
A dynamic person in his mid-30s, Festus shares his passion for strategic problem solving and achieving financial freedom through a variety of roles.
A full-time lecturer in Tourism Management at Kenya Cooperative University, he advocates for education that embraces modern innovations, transforming young innovative minds into functional, industry-based solution providers.
“The better you solve real problems, the more people will seek you out. And when people seek you out, money, successful careers, and great business will automatically come to you.” he says.
His expertise extends to consulting, particularly in investment and tourism. He is also the founder of Naicef Limited, Africa's only fintech company.
Looking back on his journey, Festus acknowledges the challenges he has faced, particularly the low salaries offered to entry-level graduates.
“My first job was lecturing at a local university and I earned 50,000 Kenyan Shiras. Any new business comes with its inevitable challenges, but I took on side jobs to make ends meet. “I started it,” he says.
Despite these challenges, Festus persevered, drawing strength from his passion for preaching and witnessing positive change in people's lives.
Over time, his lectures and rich experience as an entrepreneur helped him overcome obstacles and contributed to a more stable and successful career.
Festus also used his commitment to inspire others to branch out into the publishing business, publishing two influential books titled “Swings to Parenting.”
His first book, Real Growth Hacks, addresses the challenges young people face in choosing their careers, growing, and succeeding.
When asked about his advice to young graduates, Festus, who is pursuing a Ph.D., said: Tourism management emphasizes the importance of individuals mastering their areas of interest and providing solutions to real-world problems.
