Rwanda Day is an event where thousands of members of the Rwandan community abroad and friends of Rwanda come together to discuss the country's development, celebrate culture and engage with the president on issues of national importance.

For Irembo management, this year's Rwanda Day is dedicated to helping Rwandan communities abroad access government services provided by USSD and the web-based platform IremboGov, according to a statement announcing their participation in the two-day event. It is said to be an important opportunity.
“The main purpose of Irembo to participate in Rwanda Day is to help Rwandan diaspora process applications for various services of the Irembo government and unresolved issues regarding services including but not limited to identity cards, passport applications and marriage declarations. “The aim is to expand support to resolve these issues,” the statement reads in part. .
“By facilitating access to these critical services, we aim to streamline the experience for our diaspora communities and enable them to seamlessly participate in government processes from remote locations.”
