The main residence is an original wooden three-bedroom farmhouse surrounded by mature trees, tropical plants, fruit trees, macadamia trees and a large vegetable garden.
There is a huge wood-burning fireplace with a brick hearth, as well as original features such as VJ panelling, sash windows and fretwork. In another cottage, plans for a new house have been approved.
The former dairy farm was advertised as being able to “easily accommodate” up to 40 cows or more than 300 sheep, as well as chickens, llamas and goats. There is a large farm shed and six paddocks.
A 5-hole golf course, lagoon-style pool, and fire pit are also on site.
Dury is currently building a home in Avalon that will cost about $2.75 million.
“Six years ago, I started dreaming of building a new house. This year, we finally broke ground,” Dury told her 40,000 Instagram followers in July.
He paid $2.275 million to buy the 1940s Pittwater cottage in 2015, but faced significant opposition from local residents.
“The application for our family home here in Avalon, where we have now lived for 20 years, was made despite working with local city planners and our intention to build an energy efficient ‘off-grid’ Given this, it was met with surprising resistance. “A state-of-the-art green home,” Mr Dury wrote to Northern Beaches Council.

“We also utilized the services of the Green Building Council of Australia to make our home one of the first independently certified homes in Australia.
“This house was originally built as a holiday home in the 1950s and is one of the most dilapidated and dilapidated houses on this street.
“It is no longer fit for living and does not comply with current code requirements.
“As you can imagine, if a plot is left untended for over 70 years, native vegetation and non-native or noxious weeds can completely take over.”
According to PropTrack, only 3 homes have sold in Nashua in the past 12 months.
