The deceased, identified as Patrick Tito, had an argument with his wife before leaving the couple's home in Ikangaviya area, Citizen TV reported.

Ikangaviya district administrator Stella Ntiwa confirmed the incident and said the man was suspected of assaulting his wife before leaving.

“Tito left home in a panic after he allegedly assaulted his wife,” Ntiwa was quoted as saying.
Tito informed his parents of what had happened at home and vowed never to return.
He instead chose to disappear into the Makri forest in the neighboring village of Nzawi.
A few days later, residents found his body and police suspected he had committed self-inflicted injuries.
The body was taken to Makueni Hospital mortuary as an investigation into the mysterious death began.
Heartbroken by the incident, the chief called on local residents to seek advice whenever they face adversity in life.

He revealed that he had endured a lot to the point of resorting to self-harm, adding that all his efforts were in vain.
“I have decided to rest in peace. I have tried all means but all in vain,” he wrote.
Before his tragic end, Mukono updated his social media pages and invited people to “his events.”
In his post, he recognized the need for friends to talk to and share your pain when you are depressed.
“Dear night members, when you're stressed, you need a friend to share it with. In the meantime, I invite you to my event on February 14, 2024. Welcome everyone,” he said. .
