A popular Adelaide suburb known for its leafy streets and character homes has been named the city's most expensive suburb.
Unley Park is Adelaide's most expensive suburb, with the latest PropTrack data showing an estimated median price of $1.849 billion.
It was followed by Malvern with an estimated median price of $1.692 billion, followed by Erindale ($1.683 billion), St George's ($1.631 billion) and Millswood ($1.624 billion).
This listing is determined by PropTrack's automated valuation model, which provides a statistically derived estimate of the property's value.

This value is estimated by analyzing various data points, including sales history.
Only suburbs with a minimum of 200 housing units were included in the analysis.
Stephanie Williams, partner at Williams Real Estate, said it was no surprise that Henri Park topped the list.
Given its proximity to King William Road, the city, prestigious schools such as Scotch College and Walford College, and leafy streets, Ms Williams says there is a long list of people looking to shop in the area. he said.
“You walk around and there are beautiful parks everywhere,” she said.
“We have Heywood Park and beautiful streets.
“It's held very tightly.”
Williams said many longtime residents want to downsize in the area, but properties in the suburbs rarely come on the market, so many are reluctant to sell because they have nowhere else to go.
Middleton was the most expensive area in the state. The house at 44-46 Padman Cresse was sold in early December. The selling price has not yet been disclosed. Photo: realestate.com.au

Less than 5km away, Port Elliot was the second most expensive regional suburb or town, with an estimated median price of $814,000.
Hindmarsh Island ($769,000), Goolwa North ($671,000) and McCracken ($652,000) round out the top five.
Harcourt South Coast principal Mark Ford said there was “huge demand” for property in the area at the moment.
“What we're finding is that this region is growing. The market in this region is now stronger than ever,” he said.
“We have a lot of people who want to move here and we have expats who want to come back.”
Forde said that although the area is rural, its easy access to the city and airport is very attractive to buyers looking for both a home and a holiday home.
The year ahead will be another busy one, he said.
