President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has worked to improve the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of Egyptian university education.
He discussed the issue with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour on Saturday.
Presidential Spokesperson Counselor Ahmed Fahmi said President al-Sisi reviewed the country's plans to link university education to labor market and development needs.
The Minister of Higher Education updated President Sisi on the national strategy for technical education and the establishment of technical universities in all prefectures. He also outlined government programs to accommodate the growing number of students and international students, and efforts to build cities for international students.
President al-Sisi also discussed the progress of the “Alliance and Development” initiative, which aims to strengthen cooperation between universities and industry associations to create development plans for each region and province based on the integration of education and development. I learned.

The conference also addressed the development of university hospitals, their number, training programs and modern treatment services.
University hospitals' budgets, which have tripled in the past decade, have been scrutinized to ensure the highest level of service for the public.
President Al-Sisi has worked to improve university education in Egypt by focusing on the quality and relevance of academic output and linking it to economic and development needs.
He also directed to take into account the priorities of the education sector and provide support for existing and new initiatives in the field of higher education.
