Four years after the Polish subsidiary of SMA Solar Technology AG (SMA) was expanded and relocated to the state-of-the-art Krakow Airport Logistics Center, the foundation stone for the second production building was laid. From 2025, the approximately 10,000 square meter site will manufacture electromagnetic components such as chokes and transformers to support SMA's expected growth and other goals in the coming years. Three fully automated production lines and an administrative office will create up to 300 jobs. The new SMA Magnetics building, covering approximately 10,000 square meters, will be located within the GLP Krakow Airport Logistics Center, where the SMA subsidiary has already been operating production facilities and offices for approximately four years.
