Singapore and London, Wednesday, January 31, 2024 – SMU Academy, the professional training arm of Singapore Management University, and SuperCharger Ventures, the world’s largest dedicated edtech accelerator, today announced that release ofAdvanced Certificate in Innovative Educational Technology'program. Co-designed by SMU Academy and SuperCharger Ventures and guided by leading academics and industry experts, the program directly addresses the transformative impact of AI in education and aligns with Singapore's National AI Strategy and National Education Technology Master Plan 2030. Designed for a wide range of professionals, including educators, technology enthusiasts, and organizational leaders, the Advanced Certification program is scheduled to begin on March 18, 2024 and focuses on the purposeful use of technology in learning and teaching. enabling a shift in Singapore's educational methodology. With the rapidly evolving landscape and the global trend of educational institutions around the world implementing AI in teaching and learning, understanding the technology and acquiring AI skills is critical for educators. The program aims to support greater customization of student learning and improve teachers' professional practice by strengthening teachers' knowledge and capabilities in integrating AI into education.
This six-module curriculum covers the basics of AI and edtech, the practical application of AI tools in education, and the development of customized edtech solutions. We will address the current skills gap by providing participants with insights from experts and leaders in the education sector from a variety of continents including Australia, Europe and North America.

Registration is now open for the Advanced Certificate Program in Innovative Educational Technology.
