While construction was underway, late cricketer Shane Warne bought the flat, which was sold by his family after Spinking's death last year.
Real estate mogul Anthony Catalano, who also bought a penthouse and soccer player Sam Newman, spent nearly $30 million on the site.
The owners of No. 501P partners Trevor White and Leanne Turner first warmed to St. Moritz after seeing a presentation about the development.
White said he stayed in luxury hotels when he traveled the world importing medical products and technology, and St. Moritz was similar to these international venues.
“It has a resort feel, more like a home resort than a commercial resort,” said White.

Fortunately, chauffeur-driven cars available to St. Moritz residents were able to transport Snoopy to his appointment free of charge.
“We put him in the Porsche and took him to a wash and haircut, and he came back,” White laughed.
A 15-foot-long marble bench and Gaggenau appliances dominate the kitchen.
Residents of St. Moritz have access to a heated pool.
He and Ms. Turner often make use of St. Moritz's two private dining rooms. One accommodates up to 8 guests and the other accommodates up to 24 guests.
Rooms are located near a commercial kitchen, so residents can hire a chef for special occasions, but that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to hospitality.
βThe champagne bar is a private area on the concierge level downstairs where residents gather for cocktails on Friday nights,β White said.
“Our bartenders always have weekly cocktails available.”
A nearby sports bar and golf simulator add even more fun.
There are multiple dining rooms and bars for residents to enjoy.

In addition, residents have access to 24-hour concierge and valet service, a heated pool and spa, a movie theater, and a gym with personal trainers and yoga instructors.

St. Moritz is close to many of St. Kilda's attractions.
Mr White said he and Mr Turner had no plans to move, but they had bought a new property they found on a walk and unexpectedly fell in love with, so they were planning to sell.
“We feel very fortunate to be able to share the vision that Tim Garner has put together. This is a landmark in Melbourne's landscape,” Mr White said.
Their apartment has two parking spaces, VIP storage lockers and a wine cellar.
White Fox Real Estate Sales Director Peter Zervas owns the listing.
