A landslide-damaged renovator's delight, a five-story “superyacht” and the world-famous Flintstones' home – unpacking November's most viewed homes reveals the month's unique The taste has appeared.
Former Australian soccer player Ivan Kerik's luxury three-storey Melbourne inner-city mansion for sale became the most viewed property listing on realestate.com.au last month, with more than 23,000 views.
The 1880s-built mansion at 54 Park Street in Moonee Ponds would break the park's suburban record if it achieved a price closer to $20 million to $22 million.
The last record sales was in 2018 with sales of $10.75 million.
“It's a great home,” said McDonald Upton sales agent Joe Zucco.

“This is something that has never been offered in the City of Moonee Valley, let alone Moonee Pond, but when you consider the finish and what it offers when you're talking about a $20 million to $22 million price tag. It’s worth every penny.”
Set on a vast 2284sqm site, the home features a four-room master wing, home cinema and gym, tennis court, two outdoor areas and a luxurious home office.

The Expression of Interest sales campaign ends Dec. 22, but Zucco said buyer interest has remained steady.
“Obviously a lot of people want to be tested and we're obviously trying to be as selective as possible without upsetting people,” he said.

“What’s interesting is that none of the buyers here are seriously discussing price.
“The feedback we get is that photos don't really convey the appeal.”

Priced between $10.5 million and $11.5 million, Marshall White Stonington sales agent Justin Long says the striking design will appeal to families with young children looking to move to the suburbs for education. He said the company is attracting interest from domestic and international buyers.
Mr Long said the St George Rose property was an unusual purchase, as it was just one of 23 properties along the Toorak River.
“Some of them are owned by the same family, who either bought their neighbors or have another family who bought another piece of land along the same river,” he said.
“So we’re saying we have 23 properties, but the reality is, some of them are interconnected with other properties, so it’s not really 23, it’s probably actually 20, 18, There are only 19.” [properties]or something like that.

Plans to build a 10m-tall superyacht-style home on a 1,365sqm site were approved by Stonnington City Council in July for billionaire businessman Howard Armitage.
The brainchild of award-winning Rob Mills Architecture & Interiors, the project involves demolishing the existing home and replacing it with a nautical home with a rooftop spa and bar, pool, gym and private jetty on the Yarra River. is planned to be constructed.
Alternatively, a prospective buyer could simply move into an existing home.

But Long said properties of that quality are rare and typically come on the market every five to 10 years.
“I think it’s important to seize the opportunity to buy while properties are available, because people have a certain window to buy properties like this, and by the time the next one comes along, “Their lifestyles have changed so much that it may no longer be relevant to them,'' he said.

Noel Jones Maroondah & Yarra Ranges sales agent Ben Hollow said the landslide destroyed the triple garage of his five-bedroom home, resulting in the sale price being reduced depending on the necessary repair work. Said it was set.
“It was clear throughout the day that the house itself would have been a great home for the buyer to understand at the time,” he says.
“We drew a lot of appeal from it based on its location and personality.”
