The 10 Australian suburbs with record sales have been revealed, including both traditionally high-performing suburbs and up-and-coming areas.
Eleanor Cree, senior economist at PropTrack, said the latest house price index shows prices will rise every month through 2023 and remain resilient despite rising interest rates. .
“Prices are at all-time highs in many markets after completely erasing the 2022 selloff and setting new records,” Cree said.
“Broadly speaking, the top end of the market has outperformed this year after leading the recovery in the first half despite continued interest rate increases, supported by demand from large deposit buyers who are less exposed to rising interest rates. did.”
Mr Cree said affordable suburbs were also recording strong growth.
“Buyer demand remains strong in more affordable areas as maximum loan amounts have been reduced by more than 30% following record interest rate increases,” he said.

1. Milperra, New South Wales
