It looks like a small vacation home from the street, but there's more to this 1920s Torrensville home than meets the eye.
Extensive renovations have given new life to the former two-bedroom home at 77 West St. It is now completely modern and has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
There has been strong interest ahead of the auction, and LJ Hooker Mile End Wood Building agent Thanasi Mantopoulos said around 50 groups came to view the first public inspection.

“It's very rare to find something like this,” he said.
“There aren’t many that have three bathrooms, so it’s pretty unique, so the fact that it’s renovated and ready to go is a big plus at the moment.
“Move-in ready housing is in high demand.”
Set on a 426sqm lot, the home started out as a two-bedroom lean-to home when the owners bought it in 2018.
After a two-year passion project, they converted it into a two-story family home.
The main bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet is located at the front of the home, followed by a lounge room, bathroom, open kitchen, dining and living space overlooking the outdoor area of the backyard.

The second floor has three additional bedrooms, a living space and a shared bathroom.
Other highlights include a four-person spa in the backyard, a BBQ kitchen in the outdoor area, and a large laundry and pantry with access to a tandem carport.
Mr Mantopoulos said the owners had gone to great lengths to make it “the perfect family home.”
“They made sure they added their own personality to the home,” he said.
“Flexible floor plans and multiple living areas allow you to make the most of your space.”
The property will be auctioned on October 28th at 9am.
The median home price in Torrensville is $980,000, up 14.8% in the past year, according to PropTrack data.
