An online hub to share a collection of content to learn about peace
Toronto, Ontario, January 24, 2024 – TVO Media Education Group (TVO) celebrates this international education day (24 January) and launches an online hub of carefully selected learning resources, documentaries, current affairs, videos and family-friendly content in support of this year's UN theme 'Learning for Lasting Peace'. Ta.

Orridge, CEO of TVO. “With support from the Ontario Ministry of Education, we are developing a wide range of innovative products for learners at all stages of life that are critical building blocks in helping Ontarians become agents of peace in their communities. We are proud to create and make available the best curriculum and programming.
As a social impact organization, TVO understands that equitable access to educational and informative content is key to the development of peaceful communities and the future success of all Ontarians. A recent TVO survey of parents, caregivers and educators echoes this view, asking how Ontario students can build and maintain peaceful communities, and the role education plays in that process. There is strong support for learning key roles.
TVO's International Education Day learning hub includes fostering respect for others, celebrating diversity, understanding Canada's communities, and using our voices for change that educators can use in the classroom.TVO A collection of Learn resources.
