This follows huge auction results on the Gold Coast, including Southport mansion Alston, which sold for $24.8 million in September, breaking a Queensland auction record.

Kicking off early Friday morning is the auction of the high-profile property, Dahlia Estate.
Built into a hillside in the Tallebudgera Valley, the five-bedroom home first came on the market in March through an Expressions of Interest campaign.
Boasting a host of luxury facilities including a helipad, outdoor gym, resort-style pool and tennis court, it took hours for this vast estate to be listed as one of the country's most sought-after properties on real estate portal realestate.com.au It didn't take.
Sellers Ross and Ashley Hankin decided last month to put the property up for auction in a new marketing effort.
On December 8th at 10am, Dahlia will put the hammer down on Koloche's Troy Dowker.

Matt McKelden, an agent with Smith & Co. Realty, said Paradise Point is seeing a lot of interest in the property known as the Palm House.

The seller, Riccardo Rizzi, is a Perth-based civil engineer who bought the unfinished property at auction in 2013 for $5.3 million.
