Among the thousands of products available for purchase online these days, one of the most surprising viral hits is the “Portable Prefab Tiny House”, which sells for $34,999 (AU$53,100) on Amazon.
According to the product page, the 35 square meter home has an “expandable” steel frame and insulation, with enough space to be divided into two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen.

The house, branded Zolyndo, comes in three options. A 4m x 6m structure with a bathroom costs $19,999 (A$30,300) and a 4.5m x 6.2m structure costs $22,999 (A$34,900). .

The $34,999 (A$53,000) version is larger and comes with a toilet. It's also sold on Amazon, so Americans can have it shipped within four to five days.
The Boom is currently so popular that it's listed as sold out on Amazon Australia's website, so enthusiasts should keep an eye out for restocks.
Although the tiny house movement has become mainstream in recent years, the fact that prefabricated homes are sold at retail stores such as home improvement stores remains unique, and the folding home concept is even more distinctive.

The Amazon product page states that the home has drywall anchors and screw holes for installation, and that the unfolding process is “easy.”

The social media group recently purchased one of the foldable homes to test the concept's functionality and uploaded its review to TikTok, Survive and Thrive Co. There, it received over 11,000 likes and over 237,000 views.

“I bought a house on Amazon,” the video shows the men cutting open a giant Amazon box and exploring the shipping container-like house inside.
“There's a whole bathroom,” one user commented while exploring the compact bathroom, which apparently arrived with water hooked up.
However, an outlet is not included. Found when you expand the house to full size. This is described on the Amazon product page.

Viewers were both impressed and concerned about the shipping conditions.
One user commented: “That house is coming at me like a deck of cards.”
“But how well does it perform in different weather conditions? And what about the insulation?” wondered another.
