New Delhi: Vice Chancellor Jagdeep Dhankar highlighted the vital role of women in India's democracy at the 100th anniversary celebrations of Indraprastha Women's University at Delhi University's North Campus. He called on companies to actively support girls' education, stressing their importance as key stakeholders in the democratization process.
“Our businessmen are donating large amounts of money to foreign NGOs. Companies should come forward and use their CSR funds to contribute to girls' education,” he said. Dhankar said that girls' education can change an entire generation and thereby create a revolution.
While inviting the students of the university to visit the new Parliament House, he described them as the soldiers who will usher in the golden age of the country in the next 25 years of 'Amrit Kaal'.
