One property boasts unusual Yarra River frontage. The other offers Tasmania's rustic country life with business opportunities.
One property is located in the upmarket suburb of Toorak, where the median home price is approximately $5.8 million.
The other is home to about 400 residents, and the number of transactions recorded in a year would be too small to calculate a median value.
One is aimed at kings and queens looking for a grand project, and the other has a starting price of less than 500,000.
What do these contrasting lists have in common?
The pair topped realestate.com.au's national chart of most viewed properties this week.

Perhaps surprisingly, the winner was the 141-year-old Tassie Church.
As of Wednesday morning, its first week on the market had drawn 27,640 views on the real estate website.
The Toorak opportunity, which is expected to sell for $10.5 million to $11.5 million after plans have been approved for a five-storey mansion inspired by a luxury liner, has received 11,765 views.
“We've been inundated with calls and emails about this property,” said Deb Stevens, senior agent with EIS Properties.
“We had an open home there on Saturday and a lot of people turned up, especially Tasmanians,” she said.
“The church is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day, so people can also go and watch the church at their own leisure.”

Mrs Stevens said Mr Ross' former home of the United Church of Australia had received a variety of inquiries from Tasmanians and people living interstate.
“Some people have already gone to see this place in person, and others say they will be heading down soon.”
No.52a-54 Church St, Ross is for sale through expressions of interest for over $450,000.
“As expected, the offers started coming in this week,” Mrs. Stevens said.

The church, built in 1882, is a listed cultural heritage site.
Much of the building has polished floorboards, an octagonal spire, Tasmanian blackwood pews, a gabled slate roof, Horton windows, and stained glass windows.
The property's community purpose zoning allows for a variety of uses, including emergency services, community meetings and entertainment, education, business and professional services, food, general retail, residential, and tourism. Some require permission and others accept objections.
