Why do women oppose femicide protests?
According to her, women should be educated about more effective ways to fight mass murder. @kanyi_254 suggests that a key solution lies in teaching young girls about the importance of love and its various aspects from an early age.

She argues that focusing on educating older women who engage in online chatter and late-night dating is less effective.

@kanyi_254 expressed her views and challenged policymakers who are actively working to combat criminality, many of whom are feminists, arguing that their efforts are doomed to failure. .
She insisted on the importance of giving due consideration to men who experience pain and brutal killings, and was adamant that she did not want to engage in discussions that she considered ineffective.
“What's interesting is that 70% of people who claim femicide go back to dating Yahoo boys or spending nights at Airbnb. It should start with the family, not against them,” she added.

Another X user claimed that married people rarely go to Airbnb or clubs, and argued that women should get married by age 23.
Kenyan reaction
Her suggestion sparked reactions from Kenyans who blamed lack of education, desire to maintain a false livelihood and love of money for the brutal murder.

Kenyans protest against rising murders
On January 27, Kenyans turned out in droves to demonstrate against the rise in attacks on women.
Since the first week of January, approximately seven women have tragically lost their lives in Airbnbs, hotels, and residential areas.
The climax of the attack was marked by the tragic murder of 20-year-old JKUAT student Rita Waeni, whose body was strangled and suffocated before being dismembered.
