According to the Daily Monitor report, Bukedi Regional Police Spokesperson Moses Mgwe said Paulina Rokiru's body was discovered in the morning.

“We received information that a 40-year-old woman had been murdered and during the investigation we arrested three people,” Magwe said.

However, the motive for the killing remains unclear and many questions remain unanswered.
Chilling details have emerged of a mysterious phone call the victim received around 1am, attempting to lure her from her home on the pretext of giving away free meat.

Solo 'A' Village International Association President Sam Mbogo detailed how residents encountered the tragic scene on their way to their farms in the morning.
“They noticed bloodstains along the riverbank and upon closer inspection found her body lying on the riverbed,” Mbogo explained.
