Addis Ababa, May 9, 2024 – On May 8, 2024, U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia Irvin Masinga, along with Deputy Tourism Minister Sileshi Girma, officially opened a photo exhibition at the National Museum in Addis Ababa to commemorate the 120th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Ethiopia. . . This exhibition serves as a powerful reflection of the enduring and deep bilateral relationship between our two countries.
Titled 'A Visual Journey of Bilateral Relations', the exhibition features 28 carefully selected images depicting the deep ties between the two countries. The exhibition will be open to the public from May 8th to May 26th at the National Museum, followed by May 29th to June 8th at the Ethiopian Institute on the campus of Addis Ababa University, and June 17th to June 8th. It will be on display at the Hyatt Regency until today. July 7. Each venue will offer a carefully selected collection of photographs that capture the essence of bilateral relations across a variety of sectors, including health, education, agriculture, and economic development.
Ambassador Masinga said, “I am excited to announce this exhibition as a celebration of the enduring friendship between the United States and Ethiopia.” “Through these powerful images, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the common values and aspirations that unite our nation.”
In addition to the physical exhibition, the entire collection will be published on the Embassy's website, offering a virtual experience to audiences around the world.
