Mansehra: Residents of Purla region have urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to invest in road development and other infrastructure projects to boost tourism in the picturesque alpine destination of Koye Bengula.
Bakhtiar Tanori, a resident of Purla and the tehsil headquarters of the newly designated Thanawar tehsil, said in order to attract more tourists to Koh-e-Bengla, known as the 'Land of Shrines'. emphasized the need for infrastructure development.
Tanori highlighted that Zahid Chanzeb, the chief of staff at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, had vowed during his election campaign on February 8 to uplift Thanawar, which has been neglected by successive governments.
