Sponsored by the National Pork Producers Council, the 2024 World Pork Expo will provide attendees with the latest insights across all aspects of the pork industry. This year's event features a new two-day schedule and the return of the world's largest trade show dedicated to pork. Other highlights include the return of free educational seminars and the introduction of the Young Pork Advocate Issue Conference at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa.
“In an ever-changing industry like this, it's important to stay informed and innovative,” said Lori Stevemer, NPPC President. “This is especially true as we welcome young people who are passionate about making a difference. The 2024 World Pork Expo will improve the knowledge of all professionals and will help create opportunities such as the Young Pork Advocates Issues Conference. It’s all about supporting young talent through events.”

Participants research, problem solve, debate, draft mock motions, and gain valuable experience in the NPPC policy development process.
The competition will be held during the Expo and will begin with an orientation session followed by a round-robin discussion on the first day.
