This is the house everyone in Brisbane is talking about.
Local developer Max Panettiere's Norman Park riverfront 'Gill House' has been completed and recently officially held a black-tie housewarming ceremony attended by real estate and finance professionals.

About 300 people walked the red carpet and milled around Mr. Panettile's brand new four-story home made of concrete and frameless glass.
Party guests included real estate agents, models, developers, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, and more.
DJ and one of Australia's top violinists, Yena Choi, entertained guests and the soundtrack from the movie Jaws played outside as guests arrived.

That house is certainly wonderful. Constructed of precast concrete, it features a river-facing pool, pool deck, BBQ terrace, downstairs bunker with adjoining bathroom, top floor master suite with luxurious walk-through dressing room, circular bathtub and marble cladding. It has a private bathroom. Matching skylight.

There's a pier and pontoon, and a giant painting by Mr. Panettiere hangs on the wall in the main living area.
The side of the house has gill-like panels that look like reproductions of sharks, and the glass facade facing the river resembles a mouth or jaw, hence the name “Gill House.''

Little of the housing materialized after Brisbane City Council initially rejected the plan, saying it would create “extreme conflict” for nearby residents.
Mr Panetière then appealed to the Planning and Environment Court.
