Ferrero North America, part of the Italian-founded Ferrero Group whose brands include Ferrero Rocher, Nutella, Kinder and Tic-Tac, has opened the region's first chocolate processing factory in Bloomington, Illinois.
A 70,000 square meter expansion of Ferrero's manufacturing campus in Bloomington will allow chocolate to be processed on-site. This marks the expansion of the company's footprint in North America as well as Illinois. The company manufactures its Butterfinger and Baby Ruth products at its Franklin Park factory, and Keebler products at its 110th Street location.th Chicago street.
