People from all walks of life were invited to a vigil to celebrate the life of the late Florence Roberts, who passed away after a short battle with illness.

According to Bishop Joshua Amara of Migori County, the May 16 event will be an interdenominational event.
“Everyone will be here and there will be praise, singing and witnessing,” Amara told Blackman TV.

“This is truly a memorial service, an opportunity for those who can't come or are far away to share their sorrows,” he added.
Amara said the burial date is set for May 17, 2024, and although she believes the weather is not on her side, she is confident that God is in complete control.

“We look forward to the opening of the dome tent, which can accommodate 3,000 to 5,000 people from all regions and from all walks of life. It will be an opportunity for political, religious and traditional sectors to share their sorrows,” he added. .

According to Pastor John Njoga of Deliverance Church, celebrations will be held across the country and a lighting ceremony will also be held in her honor.
“We will have candle lighting ceremonies in Nairobi, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Siaya and Migori. Everyone will have a place to participate,” Njoga said.
Florence claims God healed her from HIV
In another story, Florence said she was diagnosed with HIV just as she was about to marry her first fiancé in a church wedding.
According to the singer, the church required testing before the wedding, so the couple went to get tested, and the tests revealed that Florence was HIV-positive and her fiancé was HIV-negative.
