On Thursday, May 9th, a tragic traffic accident occurred near Tenwek Bridge in Bomet County, resulting in the deaths of four people.
The accident occurred after the truck lost control, collided with a small car on the bridge, and fell into the river.
The car was swept away by the raging water and stopped by trees along the river.
According to reports, the two vehicles were heading towards Siribwet when the accident occurred. The truck in question reportedly fled the scene after the accident.

The bodies of the four people, including two men and two women, were taken to the mortuary of Longisa Hospital in Bomet County, while the remains of the car were towed to Bomet Police Station.
The accident occurred days after three people were killed in a road accident on the Nakuru-Eldoret Expressway near Nakuru Teachers College.
The horrific accident involved a truck and a 14-seater Matu.
Other passengers injured in the accident were taken to Nakuru General Hospital for treatment, while the bodies of the deceased were taken to the affiliated hospital funeral parlor.
