Matioya Member of Parliament (MP) Edwin Mugo Muchoki shared a viral post announcing the good news that Kelvin has resumed school with four years' worth of school fees, a new uniform and some pocket money.

“Kelvin, from Kiagtu, Iruri, missed Form 1 for almost three weeks due to lack of tuition fees.
A few days ago, a little boy contacted me. His single mother is unemployed and the boy relies only on well-meaning people. “My team worked over time to get him admitted to school to continue his studies,” his post read.

Mugo shared a photo of a sharp and handsome young man wearing a school uniform and holding some school supplies.
The lawmaker also shared an old photo of the young man who reached out to him for help.
“I am currently assisting over 130 needy students in different schools. We are grateful to God for this and hope that the residents of Matioya will have equal educational opportunities. , we will continue to use it to be used by God to do more,” Mugo added.

Earlier this year, Mugo gave away 5,000 Kenyan shillings to pregnant women in the fight against illegal beer.
He also awarded Ksh 1,000 to a mother of an infant in a great effort to support the nation.
