Mombasa Olympic FC, on the verge of promotion to the esteemed Women's Premier League, are preparing for a crucial weekend with back-to-back clashes against Macmillan Queens and Sunderland Samba.
Head coach Joseph Oyo exuded confidence in their preparations as they intend to maintain pole position in the competitive league.
Desires for promotion fuel their resolve, and Oyu develops a well-thought-out strategy and is optimistic that they will emerge victorious in both encounters.
The team's itinerary will consist of a head-to-head clash with Macmillan Queens on Saturday, followed by a match against Sunderland Samba the following day, with both games to be held at Makande Primary School.
Oyu emphasizes the active team spirit within the team, minimizing obstacles to the match.
“The girls have prepared diligently for these challenges, undergoing rigorous training and participating in preparatory matches. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, our prospects are optimistic. The competition for promotion spots remains strong. It’s fierce, all three teams in the top are competing,” Oyu said.
