Amazon MGM Studios announced on May 10 that a sequel to the LGBTQ rom-com, which was released on Prime Video in August 2023, is in development.
Nicolas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez, who play Prince Harry and Alex Claremont-Diaz, respectively, will continue in the cast.
Plot details are unknown, but director Matthew Lopez has returned to write the script with Casey McQuiston, who wrote the 2019 original. red, white, royal blue bestselling novel.
The first film also starred Uma Thurman, Sarah Shahi, Stephen Fry, Clifton Collins Jr., and Rachel Hilson.
