This major expansion, announced in February 2024, marks a new chapter in the church's commitment to providing exceptional hospitality and spiritual rejuvenation.
Jordan Wing boasts an impressive structure divided into five wings, with a total of 160 beds.
This expansion was driven by an increase in the number of believers seeking spiritual comfort and connection through extended prayer sessions in church.
Pastor Odero thanked the congregation and guests for their patience and support.
“The building is now ready and the hotel is ready for occupancy. We would like to thank everyone for their patience as we completed the project.” he said.
He said the opening of the Jordan Wing is in response to the growing demand for a more comfortable prayer and stay experience, especially for people who are uncomfortable staying in the temporary accommodations available to date. added.
“Even people who said they didn't want to live in temporary housing can sleep in this building. It's important to let them know early so they don't say they didn't know.” He said.
Reusing the Eden Hotel and adding a supermarket
This new facility complements the existing Eden Hotel, which has been partially repurposed.
The first and second floors of the Eden Hotel have been converted into a supermarket, reducing the number of beds to approximately 14, a strategic move aimed at providing additional convenience for guests and parishioners.
Currently, the hotel is prioritizing accommodation on the second and third floors, offering single and double rooms.
In particular, couples wishing to stay in a double room must present a marriage certificate.
In addition to strengthening physical infrastructure, Pastor Odero announced milestones in the church's outreach efforts.
The expansion will be followed by an advertising campaign and billboards announcing the crusade will soon be installed in Tanzania's major cities, including Arusha, Dodoma and Morogoro.
