Doha, Qatar: His Excellency Saad bin Ali Al Khalji, Minister of Tourism, Qatar, was joined by His Excellency Mohamed Warsama Dirie, Minister of Commerce and Tourism of the Republic of Djibouti, and Othman Abdi Mohamed, Director General of Qatar Tourism, from the Republic of Djibouti. welcomed the delegation. Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Omar, Advisor to the Minister, National Tourism Authority, and His Excellency Tayeb Duboud Roble, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Djibouti to Qatar, at the Qatar Tourism Headquarters.
During the meeting, a fruitful and cooperative discussion took place on ways to strengthen the relationship between the two countries. In response to a request from the Djibouti delegation, the Qatar Tourism Authority presented the delegation with proposals for training opportunities and resources aimed at promoting growth in the tourism sector and strengthening the workforce. We are committed to providing tourism training opportunities that contribute to the development of the tourism sector in the Republic of Djibouti and supporting human resources working in the tourism sector by providing highly rated service excellence training.
Qatar Tourism Authority's Service Excellence Department has elaborated a two-phase program scheduled to launch later this year.
